Summary: This 4-part course provides a solid foundation of basic drawing approaches and techniques. It is offered for beginners and for those who want to practice in company with others. Participants will begin to “see like an artist” through close observation and contour drawing, plus learn about various materials and develop skills including composition, shading, and perspective. Each class includes a brief demonstration followed by group practice.
Check out some of the "Before and After" drawings by some of the students who have taken the course so far. There is clear improvement in drawing skill -- it works!
PLEASE NOTE: If you don't want to take the full course, you can sign up for each weekly class separately (see individual events listings). Each class is $40; you can save $40 by signing up for the full 4-class course here for $120.
